Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · effective September 15, 2026. What you agree to when you register or pay.

1. Who you are contracting with

Offside Indoor Sports LLC ("Offside", "we") organizes soccer competitions in Royse City and Rockwall County, Texas. These terms govern your Offside account and any entry you make through it.

Offside is a mobile competition organizer. We book time at partner venues; we do not own them. A venue's own rules apply to you while you are on its premises, alongside these terms.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to hold an account. Every program currently on sale is adults only.
  • One person, one account. Register under your own name and your own email address.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
  • An account is free. Creating one charges you nothing and commits you to nothing.
  • We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms or of the Code of Conduct.

3. Entering an event

An account is not an entry. You enter each event separately, and you choose how you enter it each time. As a team, by joining a team with an invite code, or as a free agent. Entering one event as a captain does not make you a captain of anything else.

  • One person holds one place per event, at one price. You cannot hold both a team place and a free-agent place in the same event.
  • A place is confirmed when payment has cleared, and not before. Submitting a form does not hold a place.
  • Team names are first come, first served, and are fixed once entered. The bracket is published under that name.
  • Every player must sign the participant waiver before kickoff. A captain is responsible for their roster having done so.
  • We may refuse or cancel an entry. If we do, and the reason is not a breach of these terms or the Code of Conduct, you are refunded in full.

4. Free agents

A free agent is a player entering without a team. You are not charged when you apply. You are invoiced only once we have placed you on a roster, so you are never paying for a place we have not found you.

If we cannot place you, you pay nothing. We will tell you rather than leave you to find out on the day.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown on each event page, per team and per player, before you commit.
  • Payment is taken by Square. We do not see or store your card details.
  • The price that applies is the one shown when you entered. If we change a price, it applies to entries made afterwards.
  • An entry fee is a payment to Offside for entry to a competition. It is not a charitable donation, and it is not tax-deductible, including at events run in support of a charity.

6. Refunds, cancellations and changes

Refund windows are set per venue, because our obligations to the venue differ. The window that applies to your entry is published on that event's page before you pay, and in the refund policy.

  • If Offside cancels an event, you are refunded in full. That is not discretionary.
  • If you cancel, the published window for that venue decides what is returned.
  • Removal for a breach of the Code of Conduct forfeits the fee.
  • Refunds are returned to the card used, and are not instant. They are reviewed and then issued.
  • We may move a date, a venue or a kickoff time. If we do, we tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund if the change does not suit you.

The full detail is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Playing carries risk

Soccer involves physical contact and a risk of injury. You play at your own risk. Before you play you sign a participant waiver that sets out that risk and what you are agreeing to. Read it, because it is the document that governs it.

You are responsible for your own fitness to play and for any medical condition that affects it. Tell us what we need to know to look after you.

We do not provide medical insurance. We ask for an emergency contact at registration and we use it only for that.

8. Conduct

The Code of Conduct applies to you, to your team, and to spectators you bring. It forms part of these terms.

9. Photography and your data

  • Events are photographed and filmed. You choose at registration whether your image may be used publicly, and that choice is separate from marketing consent. We never treat one as the other.
  • Withdraw either consent at any time from your account, or by emailing us.
  • What we collect and why is set out in the Privacy Policy.

10. What we do not promise

We publish what is confirmed and label what is not. A date marked as planned is a plan, not a promise, and nothing is sold against a facility we do not have.

Where an event depends on a minimum number of teams, we say so. If it does not reach that number, we cancel and refund rather than run something we said we would not.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability to you arising out of an event is limited to the amount you paid to enter it.

We are not liable for property lost or damaged at a venue.

12. Changes, and how to reach us

The version of these terms that applies to an entry is the version published when you made it. When they change, the version number and effective date above change with them.

Questions about these terms: support@offsideindoorsports.com. Anything about a specific event: events@offsideindoorsports.com. We reply within 1 business day.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
