1. Who we are
Offside Indoor Sports LLC ("Offside", "we") runs adult soccer competitions and this website. This policy covers information collected through it.
2. What we collect
Only what a task needs, collected when you do that task.
- Account: your name, email address and a password. Passwords are held by our authentication provider in hashed form; we never see them.
- Profile (optional): display name, ZIP code, playing position and level, and the country you represent for Nations Cup events.
- Event registration: legal name, phone number, date of birth or confirmation that you are 18 or over, an emergency contact (name, phone, relationship), team name, your signed participant waiver with the time it was signed, and your photo and marketing choices.
- Team rosters: names and, optionally, email addresses of players a captain adds, so each can sign their own waiver.
- Referees: USSF referee ID, grade, certification, association, availability, and the fee you ask for matches.
- Payments: the amount, status and Square payment or order reference. Card details go directly to Square; we never receive or store them.
- Sponsors: business and contact details, the package chosen, and for signed agreements the typed signature, the time, and the IP address and browser the agreement was signed from.
- Messages you send us through contact, waitlist or sponsor forms.
3. Why we use it
- To run the events you enter: rosters, schedules, check-in, and contacting you about your entry.
- To keep people safe: emergency contacts are used only in an emergency at an event.
- To confirm eligibility: age for adults-only events, and referee credentials before an official is assigned.
- To take and reconcile payments and refunds.
- To send email you have asked for. Marketing email only if you opted in, and you can stop it at any time.
4. Who sees it
- Offside staff who run events and the admin panel.
- Emergency contacts are seen only by Offside event staff, and used only to reach someone in an emergency. They are never shown to captains, other players, referees or the public.
- Your captain sees the roster details needed to field the team: names, positions, level, and whether each player has signed. Never your date of birth.
- The public sees only team names, fixtures, results, and for match officials a role, grade and whether their ID is verified. Never names of officials, contact details, dates of birth or emergency contacts.
- Service providers who process data for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Square (payments) and Resend (email). They act on our instructions.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
5. Photos and video
You choose at registration whether Offside may use photos or video of you from an event. No answer is treated as no. You can change your mind by emailing us.
6. How long we keep it
- Signed waivers, registrations and payment records are kept as long as needed for insurance, accounting and legal claims.
- Account and profile details are kept while your account is open.
- Ask us to delete your account and we will, except for records we must keep for the reasons above.
7. Your choices
- See and update your details from your account.
- Stop marketing email by replying to any email or contacting us.
- Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion: support@offsideindoorsports.com.
8. Children
Offside competitions on this site are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes and contact
When this policy changes, the version and effective date above change with it.
